- REX provides a pretty robust flight planner that works hand-in-hand with the weather engine. It offers the sim pilot the tools to plan an elaborate trip and realistic forms to print out as if they have filled out a real flight plan. Real Environment Xtreme creates an actual flight plan that is useable within Flight Simulator.

Within the REX 2.0 flight planner the user has the ability to the following:
Create a flight plan. The user can enter their departure and destination points and let REX create basic waypoints of flight. The user can then fully modify their waypoints or add new ones. The user can save and create their flight plan that works in both FS9 and FSX.
2. The ability to load or delete a previously created flight plan created in REX. You can also modify it or change it for your specific needs if the weather conditions present the need to modify your path.
3. Now with REX 2.0 a user can load a flight plan created in FS9 or FSX. The user can modify it or just view it in the new flight planner.
4. With the development of the ISWP, the user now has the ability to allow the weather to influence the textures loaded based upon your flight plan.
5. We have integrated some of the WASys features into a new mapping feature that allows the user to graphically view the weather along the flight path.
